Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using PairFiction (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Who this is for

PairFiction is intended for couples, ages 18 and older. Some scenarios are more intimate than others and require you to confirm you're 18 or older before you can access them. By asking for or using access to that content, you're representing that this is true.

3. What the Service is

PairFiction provides interactive fictional scenarios, prompts, and role-play content meant to be experienced by two partners together, in person. It is entertainment, not therapy, counseling, or professional advice of any kind. All content is written without literal imagery.

Everything in a scenario — including role-play, dialogue, and any conflict, danger, or tension a scene depicts — is fictional and for entertainment purposes only. Nothing is real: no scenario ever intends or endorses actual threat, harm, or violence, regardless of how a scene is staged. Where a scenario suggests physical activity, it should only ever be done safely, consensually, and within limits you and your partner set together — agree on a safe word or stop cue before you begin, and stop immediately if either partner asks. We don't guarantee that any scenario will suit your relationship, preferences, or circumstances — use your own judgment at every step.

4. Early access

During this early alpha, our more intimate content is open only to a small group of early testers. If you'd like to join, you can ask by email. We grant, decline, or revoke early access at our discretion, and asking doesn't guarantee access. We may change or end early access, or any part of the Service, at any time.

5. Your conduct

You agree not to: provide false information when asking for access; use the Service to harass, harm, or deceive anyone; scrape, copy, or redistribute our content; or attempt to get around the 18+ gate or share your access with anyone else. We may deny or revoke access for conduct we reasonably believe violates these terms.

6. Content and ownership

The scenarios, text, and other content we publish belong to PairFiction (or our licensors). We grant you a personal, non-commercial license to use them for your own relationship — not to republish, resell, or distribute them.

7. No warranty, limited liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, PairFiction isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes, especially during this alpha. We'll update the date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
